Carolina De La Rosa Mateo is the Project Manager at SECPI.

She is an independent consultant who primarily focuses on evaluation and research with and in service of Latines living in the U.S.

She earned a master’s in public health from the University of Minnesota, where she focused on community health promotion and evaluation. She has a deep passion and commitment to anti-racism, health equity, Latine health, and disability advocacy.

Prior to consulting, she worked as Director of Operations at Hispanic Advocacy and Community Empowerment through Research (HACER), and as Project Manager for the Causal Pathways Initiative. Through her work at HACER, a small research and evaluation-focused nonprofit, the importance of working with people and organizations most proximate to the issue areas affecting systemically oppressed communities was evident every day.

She is excited to support SECPI in advocating for important partnerships between philanthropy and small community-based firms.
