This event took place on Thursday, December 4th at 11 am ET / 4 pm GMT.
Often, we all partner with other evaluators or firms on our projects and initiatives. In that process, we have all learned a lot about what it takes to make these partnerships successful. How we contract with one another is a contributor. The space we create for each other and how we treat each other are others. Successful partnerships -- which require more than a paycheck and a successfully completed project -- involve mutual respect, shared ownership, joint learning, and opportunities for all to shine.
During this gathering, we shared what we have learned over the past almost 15 years about what it takes to develop true evaluation partnerships, and we created spaces for participants to get to know each other and learn from each other's experiences.
This was the launch of a monthly event to which we will invite evaluators and evaluation firms of all sizes and from all parts of the world -- focused locally, nationally (e.g., within the United States or within another country), and/or globally -- to come together to build relationships and learn from each other with the goal of helping each of us strengthen our evaluation partnerships.
